Wedding Photography Top 5 Tips to Posing
Hello brides-to-be!
Today we are going to look at some simple and secret ways you can pose to make your pictures look fabulous. These are simple. yet effective ways to help your photographer get better photos and for you to feel and look confident at your best!
Posing Tip No. 1: Slightly turn sideways 45 degrees to the camera, pacing one foot slightly in front of the other. Point your toe to the camera and shift your weight on your back leg.
Posing Tip No. 2: Bring chin forward very slightly to minimize any appearance of double chin.
Posing Tip No. 3: When standing, position your arms slightly away from your body while bending at the elbow. This keeps upper arm flab from flattening out and appearing wider (much like thighs do when one sits on a couch).
Posing Tip No. 4: Roll shoulders back, arch your back and slightly pull stomach in. Very good dramatic look.
Posing Tip No. 5: One unique idea is the look away trick. To do this, face your nose away from the camera about 45 degress in either directiom. Then keeping your head at that angle, bring jyst your eyes to come towards the camera lens. A slight smile just before the shutter will create a very nice candid look. It can take a few times to get it looking right. Practice makes perfect!
Taking photos from a higher vantage point can also be a very unique look. In general, photographing from below leads to many unflattering lines and making the wrong body parts appear larger. Shooting from below may have the appearance of adding another 10-15 pounds to your figure. Shooting from above is slimming and complimentary to the feminine form. It enhances the eyes, bust line and reduces perceived waist size.
Well ladies, that’s our lesson for today. Hope you found these wedding photography top 5 tips to posing helpful.
Have a great day!

How To Select A Quality Wedding Photographer
How To Select A Quality Wedding Photographer
Capturing your day of wedded bliss is so incredibly important. The moment happens only once and it can never be replicated. This is why it is of utmost importance that you choose a professional quality wedding photographer. There is nothing worse than not having pictures of precious moments all because you chose an incapable individual to take the pictures for your wedding.
One of the first ways to select a quality wedding photographer is to be prepared to interview and view the portfolios of photographers. If you want quality pictures it is best to select a photographer that has a good portfolio and comes with glowing recommendations. The price for this type of photographer will be high, but it is worth it to receive professionalism and to ensure you receive the best photos possible. Next, you will want to discuss with the photographer the type of picture packages offered and the type of photos the photographer will be expected to take. For example, if you want group pictures of the wedding party it is necessary to mention this to the photographer. Also, if you are interested in glamour shots or pictures that require special lighting the photographer must know this. Being upfront about what you want will enable you to obtain a wedding photographer that has the skills to provide the wedding pictures you desire.
Finally, make sure to discuss payment arrangements with your wedding photographer. A professional wedding photographer will be willing to discuss the details openly and provide reasons for deposits and any additional monies needed to create your wedding photos. Ultimately, selecting a quality wedding photographer requires time, patience and the willingness to do research to ensure that the person you hire to take your photos is capable of doing a great job.

How are you going to pick your wedding photography? Will you go on word of mouth? Ask a wedding photographer to see his or her past wedding photos to see if you like their style. Or ask your recently married freinds who the best wedding photographers are in Florida? Or where ever you live.
Brides to be should also check out venues well in advance. Not doing this could really hurt your planning as halls are remodeled and you want to make sure that the hall you pick is available and is complimentary to your wedding.
Every bride wants a perfect wedding and all it takes is planning, creativity and a little foot work to make your day the most wonderful it can be!
Hiring a Freelance Photographer for Your Wedding
Hiring a Freelance Photographer for Your Wedding
Getting engaged is such an exciting moment for so many women. So many things suddenly start running through her heads about planning their big day. For some women, this is the day they’ve dreamed of all their lives, and they want all the details to be exactly perfect.
There are so many different things to remember when planning a wedding. The brides dress might be right at the top of the list, along with rings, location, and the guest list. But one other thing of huge importance is hiring a good photographer for your wedding. These days, there are many freelance photographers that can be hired for much less than big name professionals. And, you may very well get just as good of an outcome, if not even better.
Freelance wedding photographers are great for a variety of reasons, one of the best being that you can usually hire them for a very reasonable price. Freelance photographers often have fresh ideas, young minds, and are excited to do the best they can, not only for you, but to build their portfolios.
Finding a local freelance photographer can be a little tricky, but think outside the box when you start your search. Search online for local photographers, call local colleges or art schools and ask if they recommend anyone, and of course use word of mouth. You never know when you might have a friend of a friend who knows a fantastic photographer. Once you’ve found a few prospects, talk about rates, view their current portfolio, and get a feel for who seems to be the best fit. You might even consider doing an ‘engagement’ photo shoot, to see if their style fits for you and your new fiancé.
If nothing else, photographs of your wedding are the best way to enjoy wedding memories for years to come. It’s worth it to spend a little time finding just the right person for the job.
